
OFF THE GRID
As a junior level designer, my responsibilities have included working on two new locations, with a focus on creating recognizable points of interest (POIs) and districts, designed with PvP gameplay in mind — all while staying true to the strong worldbuilding established by the company's co-founder, Neill Blomkamp.

I'm grateful for the opportunity to have joined a talented team of excellent designers and collaborate on the macro design for these two areas. My main task was to create blockouts for districts and POIs that were not only engaging for players but also thematically and logically consistent with the game's world.
I gathered reference material to serve both as a foundation and as inspiration for the game's visual and structural shape language, aligning with the overarching creative vision. Best of all, I was able to bring in my personal curiosity about how things work in the real world and fuse that knowledge with my level design. That approach has been the core of my work — and needless to say, it's been a lot of fun!
